Definely Joins Launch with GS UK Black Tech Cohort

‍We are excited to announce that Definely has been chosen as one of seven companies to participate in Goldman Sachs’ first-ever UK Black Tech cohort of Launch with GS. Part of Goldman Sachs' $1billion investment strategy, the Launch with GS initiative is grounded in the belief that diverse teams drive strong returns.

Who is Launch with GS for?

Atomico recently reported that in 2021 just over 1% of venture funding in Europe went to founding teams made up of ethnic minorities. Launch with GS aims to increase capital, facilitate connections and provide resources to people of colour and women, who statistically have less access than their counterparts.

“We believe that combining the vision of these talented founders, with guidance from Goldman Sachs leaders and access to the firms’ resources, will help accelerate their growth trajectories and access to capital,” says Nishi Somaiya, Global co-head of the Growth Equity business within Goldman Sachs Asset Management.

How will Launch with GS help Definely?

‍As part of the immersive programme, Definely will receive customised workshops from Goldman Sachs teams, engage with the broader GS network, and participate in an invite-only investor showcase to present our vision to the Launch with GS ecosystem investors.
