What better time to celebrate women in tech, specifically LegalTech, than on International Women’s Day!
On International Women's Day 2023, we sat down with LegalTech professionals from DLA Piper Sweden, Delphi and Allen & Overy, who shared their LegalTech experiences, provided insights on how the industry is evolving and gave practical advice on how to best utilise LegalTech.
Agenda:
A human rights lawyer at heart, a tech-interested Knowledge Manager by trade. Hanna has extensive experience in driving change and innovation in global law firms such as Baker McKenzie and Bird & Bird LLP. Hanna now heads-up DLA Piper Sweden’s Legal Tech & Knowledge Management team in Stockholm, where she is the business lead and expert for identifying, implementing and securing the adoption of best-in-class knowledge and innovative tools.
Brenna is a vastly experienced lawyer with a wealth of knowledge in financial services, having worked in Allen & Overy’s Derivatives and Structured Finance team and as an in-house lawyer at major investment banks such as Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank. Since 2021, she has been the Senior Manager of A&O’s tech innovation space, Fuse, where she manages programming for the cohort companies, leads pilots of new technology and connects clients with technologies of interest to their legal teams and the wider business.
Malin is a Legal Tech Associate at DLA Piper Sweden; combining work as an Intellectual Property and Technology lawyer, and Legal Tech work. As such her areas of expertise include both legal tech, and tech law. Outside of DLA Piper Sweden Malin also contributes to several grassroots organisations, for example as COO of the Legal Design Summit, organiser of Stockholm Legal Hackers and founder of Stockholm Innovation Bootcamp with the ambition to change the practice of law on several levels through design, tech and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Sophia is passionate about new technologies and innovative solution, and is driven by continuous development and improvement. She has over 20 years of experience in the legal profession as a Lawyer, Head of Knowledge Management and Learning, and Head of Digitisation and Innovation. She now leads the digitisation and innovation work at Delphi, with responsibility for driving change & identifying and implementing new ways of working across the firm.
Jess heads up our Customer Success team and is our customers' first point of contact. She ensures our customers are able to take full advantage of Definely’s suite of solutions and collaborates with the product team to incorporate feedback into our products.
Jess started her career as an SDR, having to build relationships from scratch and prove the value of the solutions she was selling. She enjoyed building rapport and knew she wanted to further this, so she enquired about what made a great CSM, applied for a role at the same company and has never looked back! Now, we're lucky enough to have her lead the Definely CS team!
